My Make Up Wish list

So I thought I'd share with everyone a selection from my make up wish list. Just a couple of bits from a looooong list I have! I plan to own all of these things (and more..) by the end of the year. <-- new years resolution maybe? ;)

1) Urban Decay Naked 2 Eye Palette - I've lusted after this for a while now, it just seems perfect for me. I rarely use any bright or light colours on my eyes, so all these dark and nude tones are just really 'me'. Not to mention Urban Decay products are awesome! I'd really love to try some of the eye tutorials I've seen around, with this palette.

2) Models Own Ice Cream Sundae Nail Polish Set - Everything about this makes me smile. I adore pastels and I adore nail varnish, put the two together and I'm happy! I've not yet tried Models Own polishes, but these look awesome and they'd be perfect in the summer, or with a cute little design on them.

3) Pink Friday Nail Polish by Nicki Minaj @ OPI - Now, I love this for a few reasons. The first being that I am obsessed with Nicki Minaj (borderline stalkerish perhaps?), another being that it is pink and pink is an amazing colour! Are they valid reasons?

4) Models Own Mirrorball Nail Polish Set - Like I said above, I don't own any Models Own nail varnishes (yet!) but these are most certainly at the top of my list. I've seen the amazing effects these can have on nails, and I'm practically drooling at the thought of being able to paint my own nails with them. Not to mention I am a sucker for anything that glitters!

5) Miss Flicklash Short Lash - I am so desperate to try these, they're such a good idea! Every time I wear false lashes I draw on my own 'flick' and it can be time consuming and messy, so having 'ready made flicks' is like a bonus to me! I chose the short ones because although I love dramatic eyes and lashes, bigger falsies tend to completely over take my eye and look a bit silly, so I love that the length is staggered and shorter, yet still glamorous.

6) MAC Ruby Woo Lipstick - Ever since I first saw this lipstick I knew I needed it in my life. I adore red lips and I've seen this shade on various people's skin tones and it always looks flawless. MAC lipsticks are always amazing so I have no doubt in my mind that this would get a hell of a lot of use from me.

Anyone else got or tried any of these?

Spend, Spend, Spend!

I really shouldn't have but I ended up buying 8 really cute things.

Been on major Christmas shopping sprees lately, mainly online (will post pictures of my haul when everything arrives!) and me and Harriet decided to spend some of her Christmas money too. 

We ended up picking her some VANS, in her favourite pattern...Hello Kitty!

They are so so cute and teeny weeny, she adores them. They were £27.99 in the sale.

My New Years Eve post!

Seeing as it's officially 2013 now, I thought I'd do a NYE post!

I wasn't actually planning on doing anything this year, New Years Eve has never felt like a big deal to me, but since I've never had chance to celebrate and have a drink guilt free on NYE before I decided last minute to go to my mums party and enjoy myself!

As my previous post stated (facepalm) I have barely any make up left, and I'm really impressed with myself that I managed to scrape together some bits of make up I don't particularly like/use from the back of my wardrobe and also salvage some of what got destroyed.. and here's what I managed to look like..

I curled my hair with my Remington Pearl Wand that I treated myself to a while ago. I really wanted it after seeing some reviews, but I have only managed to use it once briefly, so I thought NYE would be the perfect excuse!

I didn't do all of my hair because its really thick and long so I just added a few curls and some to the ends and I got a lot of compliments!

The dress was something I bought in a last minute panic for a friends birthday a couple of months ago, I have only worn it once and I love it! It was only about £12 off an eBay seller and is really flattering and good quality! 

I teamed it with my new (almost) 8 inch heel boot I got for Christmas and I am in love with them! (also off an eBay seller)

So yeah, thats what I managed to throw together in about 40 mins haha! Sorry for the rubbish photos, the lighting was terrible.

What did you all wear for your celebrations?

Mission: Buy more make-up!

Today, i would like to share with you the mischief that 2 & 3 year olds are capable of.. just in case you were wondering ;).

This delightful photo here, shows the masterpiece they created on the bedroom wall.. using my make up! Brilliant isn't it? Notice how the MAC lipstick blends and stains so nicely into the white painted walls?

They also autographed the wall too! 

Everytime i have showed people this picture they have recoiled in horror and told me 'They would be fuming' or 'OMG how will you clean it?!' Well, my friends, the answer is.. i can't clean it! It stains.. :') 

This isn't the first time this has happened, OH NO! Just look what they did to my living room earlier in the year..

And they don't just stop with home decorating either, they're actually make up artists too! Who knew?! 

Take note ladies... i challenge you to find more beautifully applied make up ;)

So yeah, this is actually a light hearted post, although i am gutted i now own barely ANY make up, i'm not angry, i'm just on the hunt for more make up and beauty stuff ;)

And some storage that is child proof haha!

Ooops! I'm back..

I have been away for a while, long story short.. literally the day after my last post, i got injured in my face and had hideous scars across my eye :( then i moved out and now i am settled and ready for some bloggin'!

Not really much to say other than i hope you all had a great Christmas! 

We had a lovely day, was surprisingly stress free, and the kids enjoyed everything they received. 

My resolution this year is to make this blog all pretty and blog more!!!
And my other resolution is to keep my kids away from my make-up.. follow up post to come..
