My New Make-Up Arrived!

Yep, my MUA order arrived today! It felt like my birthday all over again ;) 

I've never ripped a package open so quickly, after having barely any make up for ages, it was practically gold dust!

I wasn't going anywhere today so it felt like a waste to use it all right away, but i did have a little play with the eyeshadows and eyebrow kit LOL! 

Here is my precious:

Lipsticks in shade 12 & 14 - Artiste Palette - Pro Brow kit - Face Primer - Eye Primer - Extreme Curl Mascara - Blonde Eyebrow Pencil - White and Black Eyeliner - Foundation brush.

Luckily (Can you say it's lucky to need your brows doing lol?) my eyebrows were due to be fixed up haha so I gave my Pro Brow kit a quick play and I really love it :) I didn't have much time so it's not the best picture (see below) but if I actually sat down a bit longer they could look amazing with that kit! 

I also tested the mascara and a few of the colours from the Artist Palette.. so far so good!!
I already had my make up on for the day but I wiped it all off just so I could test haha.

Here's a before and after picture, mainly for the brows, but you can see the make up too.. ignore the random black bit in my eye, i didn't realise! (GRIM!)

I can't wait until tomorrow when i'll have a bit more time to try it all out properly!

My New Years Eve post!

Seeing as it's officially 2013 now, I thought I'd do a NYE post!

I wasn't actually planning on doing anything this year, New Years Eve has never felt like a big deal to me, but since I've never had chance to celebrate and have a drink guilt free on NYE before I decided last minute to go to my mums party and enjoy myself!

As my previous post stated (facepalm) I have barely any make up left, and I'm really impressed with myself that I managed to scrape together some bits of make up I don't particularly like/use from the back of my wardrobe and also salvage some of what got destroyed.. and here's what I managed to look like..

I curled my hair with my Remington Pearl Wand that I treated myself to a while ago. I really wanted it after seeing some reviews, but I have only managed to use it once briefly, so I thought NYE would be the perfect excuse!

I didn't do all of my hair because its really thick and long so I just added a few curls and some to the ends and I got a lot of compliments!

The dress was something I bought in a last minute panic for a friends birthday a couple of months ago, I have only worn it once and I love it! It was only about £12 off an eBay seller and is really flattering and good quality! 

I teamed it with my new (almost) 8 inch heel boot I got for Christmas and I am in love with them! (also off an eBay seller)

So yeah, thats what I managed to throw together in about 40 mins haha! Sorry for the rubbish photos, the lighting was terrible.

Thought i'd try my hand at a review..

I've stalked lately and really got into this #bblogger stuff, so decided i want to give it a try!

Not every post in this blog will be beauty related, i bet, but i'm going to give it a good go so bear with me for now!

For those that don't know me, i have to admit to my absolute obsession i have with Nicki Minaj, i'm sure you will all soon realise (oops!) I think i'm borderline OTT ha, but we'll see..

So anyway, this week i decided to buy her MAC lipstick - i bought it from Selfridges though, as it was part of a competition. 

I was so excited to get it and luckily it arrived the follow day after i had ordered it which was a bonus! I was like a child opening that box, and i wasn't disappointed.

It came with it's own sleek little box, and i loved how simple the design was, and i loved the little Nicki Minaj signature on the casing. 

I love wearing lipstick but find it always goes on my lips quite dry, so i tend to use some Vaseline first to help it go on a little bit more smooth.

As you can see from the pictures its quite pink but it wasn't to 'OTT' and in your face so it didn't look silly or make me look overdressed. It lasted a good few hours on my lips, even after eating and drinking etc. It even 'dried' onto my lips within about 15mins which meant it stayed on my lips quite nicely and didn't smudge either!

This is my first MAC product and i love it! Definitely going to be purchasing more lipsticks from there for sure!
