Mission: Buy more make-up!

Today, i would like to share with you the mischief that 2 & 3 year olds are capable of.. just in case you were wondering ;).

This delightful photo here, shows the masterpiece they created on the bedroom wall.. using my make up! Brilliant isn't it? Notice how the MAC lipstick blends and stains so nicely into the white painted walls?

They also autographed the wall too! 

Everytime i have showed people this picture they have recoiled in horror and told me 'They would be fuming' or 'OMG how will you clean it?!' Well, my friends, the answer is.. i can't clean it! It stains.. :') 

This isn't the first time this has happened, OH NO! Just look what they did to my living room earlier in the year..

And they don't just stop with home decorating either, they're actually make up artists too! Who knew?! 

Take note ladies... i challenge you to find more beautifully applied make up ;)

So yeah, this is actually a light hearted post, although i am gutted i now own barely ANY make up, i'm not angry, i'm just on the hunt for more make up and beauty stuff ;)

And some storage that is child proof haha!

Ooops! I'm back..

I have been away for a while, long story short.. literally the day after my last post, i got injured in my face and had hideous scars across my eye :( then i moved out and now i am settled and ready for some bloggin'!

Not really much to say other than i hope you all had a great Christmas! 

We had a lovely day, was surprisingly stress free, and the kids enjoyed everything they received. 

My resolution this year is to make this blog all pretty and blog more!!!
And my other resolution is to keep my kids away from my make-up.. follow up post to come..

No more make-up for me!

At least not for a little while anyway, i had a little accident today (apologies to anyone who is squeamish)

....

There was a door in my room that hadn't been put onto the actual frame yet, and it fell onto me while i was doing my make up this morning :(!

It's so painful, and look at my patchy makeup from holding a compress on it! 
I think my Makeup days are over for a while, the most i think i'm going to be able to manage is some mascara :( my poor face is so sore i can barely touch the whole left side. 

Sad day for me..

12hrs of make-up, Before and After..

So i've just been sat here wondering what to do with myself, you know.. Sunday evening bordem so thought i would do a 'before and after' post to show you how well my make up has lasted today.

My conclusion was: Not very well!

Here's my picture from this morning, nice little tired and pouty face going on lol! I didn't actually wear a lot of make up today.

And here is me now, about 11hrs later, after a busy day! I've not touched up my make up at all today but i don't think there is a single trace left on my face!

Does this happen to everyone?

How old am i again?

I feel like a child! It's almost 9pm on a Sunday night and i'm sat here with Cherry Poptarts and a carton of Ribena, mmmm.

Probably not the best snack to have so late at night (yay lots of sugar!) but it was so good!

Thought i'd try my hand at a review..

I've stalked lately and really got into this #bblogger stuff, so decided i want to give it a try!

Not every post in this blog will be beauty related, i bet, but i'm going to give it a good go so bear with me for now!

For those that don't know me, i have to admit to my absolute obsession i have with Nicki Minaj, i'm sure you will all soon realise (oops!) I think i'm borderline OTT ha, but we'll see..

So anyway, this week i decided to buy her MAC lipstick - i bought it from Selfridges though, as it was part of a competition. 

I was so excited to get it and luckily it arrived the follow day after i had ordered it which was a bonus! I was like a child opening that box, and i wasn't disappointed.

It came with it's own sleek little box, and i loved how simple the design was, and i loved the little Nicki Minaj signature on the casing. 

I love wearing lipstick but find it always goes on my lips quite dry, so i tend to use some Vaseline first to help it go on a little bit more smooth.

As you can see from the pictures its quite pink but it wasn't to 'OTT' and in your face so it didn't look silly or make me look overdressed. It lasted a good few hours on my lips, even after eating and drinking etc. It even 'dried' onto my lips within about 15mins which meant it stayed on my lips quite nicely and didn't smudge either!

This is my first MAC product and i love it! Definitely going to be purchasing more lipsticks from there for sure!
